Best welding book out, great color photos

The book is written well with straight to the point info. The color photos help a ton explaining what the lessons are talking about. If you want to become better at welding I recommend this book. It is very easy to follow and understand. You will not however get a college level education from just reading the book. There is no replacement for welding 4-5 hours a day in a school setting, with of course a good teacher. That aside this is the best book out to take your skills a big step up, and in a easy to understand way.

Great Textbook

I had to buy this book for my introductory welding class. Not having had any prior welding experience, the book was a hard read at first. As my knowledge has increased, I have come to appreciate how it repeats important information and builds on key concepts. As a textbook, it is packed with information and has definitely become more readable as I've learned more in class.
