"This is an excellent book, ideal for the chief, fellow, or faculty member preparing for these surgeries. It is more focused than the parent book, Fischer's Mastery of Surgery, 6th edition, Fischer et al.(Lippincott Williams & Wilkins, 2012). It would not be the best choice for a junior resident, who needs to read about basic anatomy, pathophysiology, and techniques."

The main complain about this book is that it announces procedural v�deos and they are few and without explanatory narrative.
Part I - p�ncreas and biliary tract is very good: good explicative figures and very good contents.
Part ii - Liver has repeatead figures at page 304; pictures (photos) that are not so clear and change of segments at the sixth line at page 217 and at figure 17-10.
Despite these observations i would buy this book again
